  • I am thankful for this opportunity granted by Chung Chi College. I enjoyed working with the team and with the people in Vietnam. Before joining the trip, I thought this would be an opportunity to give and support the community. However, I feel that I have benefited more than I contributed to this trip. I admire the local service leaders who have made a positive contribution to society through their passion for God and the people they reach.

  • I am so glad that I have a chance to explore the world, make new friends, experiences new things and most importantly I explored myself. I am really thankful of all these, all the things that I have tried, and all the experience that I have, all the memory that I have. Thank you.

  • I feel terribly bad seeing those kids in orphanage not having enough money to buy food they want to. I was panic and felt bad about not really knowing how to help them with the sad faces. But I cleared my mist realising that they are happy inside, not depending on the material life.

  • I am most impressed from the interaction with the children there. Hong Kong has been an affluent place that we had ample social resources and educational opportunities. However, the children there enjoyed a much simpler yet joyful life than we do! This made me reflect that happiness is not derived from how much money we could earn. Rather, happiness is within our hearts. We are most satisfied when we could share Christ’s love with others. The bible says, ‘three things will last forever: Faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13) I believe our visit and stay at the churches could have brought an impact to them by displaying Christ’s love through actions.
